- In his Wii Party U artwork, he seems to be playing Star Pupil as Player 1.
- For some reason, in this artwork, his eyebrows are greenish-brown instead of black.
- In the data files of Miitopia, he is listed as Young.
- Haixiang is right-handed.
- In Wii Party U, Haixiang appears as P2 in the preview video for Lost-and-Found Square.
- He also appears in the Wii Party U preview videos for Maze Malaise, Snow Shredders, and R/C Drifters.
- His Mii data file shows that even though he uses a mouth that doesn't use lipstick, it is set to be red instead of the default orange color. He also has some unused facial hair. It is set to be reddish brown instead of the default black color. This could be a remnant of an earlier design for him.
